Château Saint Mambert is located on the former Saint Maubert parish, along the Gironde, south of the commune of Pauillac and north of Château Latour.

The chapel was destroyed in 1840. Saint Maubert gave his name to the parish, which subsequently became known as St Mambert and then Saint Lambert.
